Biography:

Eric Pollard has served as Director of Instruction for Empire Golf at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course since 2001. Pollard created a top flight golf instructional program (Eric Pollard Golf Academy) attracting promising juniors, amateurs and professionals from all corners of the NorCal region. Delivering hands on, passionate and innovative techniques Eric has developed a significantly loyal clientele which includes business and community leaders from the greater Sacramento area.

Pollard's solid teaching foundation was developed by working with two legendary California golf instructors in his post-collegiate career (Okla State & Long Beach State). Both "The Little Pro", Eddie Merrins (Bel-Air CC) and Carl Welty (Jim McLean School @ PGA West) inspired Pollard to pursue his passion for instruction. The success of the EPGA is due to that teaching foundation, Eric's ambition & knowledge and the business advisory of Rod Metzler and Dane Bohrer of Empire Golf.

Pollard has coached and mentored multiple Sac Bee high school golfers of the year (both male & female) as well as three California State Fair champions. He continues to experience success with his students based in no small part on his excellent interpersonal skillset. No one ever walks away from time spent with Eric without learning something of merit. He's that good.

Pollard became a Staff Member for Titlelist in 1995 and has been a Leadership Advisory Staff Member since 2002.
